The apartment project in the Wiszace Ogrody complex in Gdansk is one of the first realizations in my portfolio, based on a free interpretation of street art and playful use of form. On a 70 m² area, two bedrooms, a functional kitchen, and extensive storage zones — including space for a large library — were designed.
The heart of the apartment is a monumental bookshelf, forming a “wall of literature” with a niche for the television. The kitchen and living room are separated by a movable island, designed for shared, family use.
The master bedroom serves a dual function — as a study and a relaxation area. The bed, integrated into the built-in furniture, allows for flexible use of the space during the day. The daughter’s room is designed as a play zone, with furniture inspired by a ship’s hull and additional features for sleeping and climbing.
The street-art character of the interior is highlighted by graffiti in the bathroom, colorful lamps, and a concrete floor with painted markings in the kitchen and hallway. The overall effect is a cohesive, light, and energetic design, tailored to the creative lifestyle of a young family.
