Sztuka Wyboru is a cultural space located in the heart of Gdansk’s Garnizon district, developed on the site of a former Prussian garrison. The historic building, protected as a heritage site, now serves office and service functions.
From the very beginning, we were involved in designing the interiors and shaping their raw character. The café combined with a bookstore has become an iconic spot in the district – a place to enjoy coffee alongside a good book. On the upper floors, workshops, book launches, and art exhibitions are regularly held.

The comprehensive project includes the café, a bookstore with mobile furniture, an exhibition area, and shared spaces with restrooms. The design approach focused on a minimalist interpretation of the building’s original, natural fabric, while preserving its raw, authentic character.
