This 120 m² apartment in Gdynia reflects a “cosmopolitan personality” — a lover of New York, good books, wine, and art. The bedroom area adjoins a wardrobe and a study, which houses an expansive office and library. A corridor with glass blocks, introducing subtle light and a modernist atmosphere, leads to this zone. The bathroom, featuring a fully backlit ceiling in the shower cabin, is also connected to the bedroom area. For guests, there is an elegant toilet with a mirror designed by Oskar Zięta, with walls clad in fluted travertine.
The living room with a kitchen annex creates an open, social space — the heart of the apartment. Its centerpiece is a seating set, complemented by striking artworks that emphasize the interior’s individual character. Instead of traditional moldings, steel profiles were used throughout the apartment, giving the walls the appearance of floating above the floor and lending the space a sense of lightness. Muted azure, cool blues, and greys dominate, contrasted with the warmth of walnut wood. The interplay of materials and colors creates a distinctive, masculine atmosphere — elegant and timeless.
